Agra’s twin transformation: CM Yogi to inaugurate ₹421 Cr projects, administration beautifies city streets

Agra, July 23: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be in Agra on a two-day visit on July 25 and 26. During this period, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth approximately 421 crores, address a public meeting, and launch a cashless scheme at the university.

Although the district administration has not yet received the minute-to-minute program of CM Yogi’s Agra visit, all preparations are being completed assuming his Agra visit is confirmed.

According to information received based on the administration’s preparations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive at the Civil Airport by plane at around 4 pm on July 25th and from there, he will reach the public meeting venue at Tata Ground on Fatehabad Road by helicopter and address the public meeting. Special preparations are being made in view of the rainy season. Arrangements are being made to accommodate the expected attendance of approximately 10,000 people at the public meeting venue. A helipad is also being prepared near the Tata Maidan.

Prior to this, CM Yogi will visit a development exhibition showcasing various government schemes at the venue and will also hand out certificates to beneficiaries and appointment letters to newly appointed Anganwadi workers.

BJP District President Girraj Singh Kushwaha stated that Tata Maidan has been chosen for the public meeting. After addressing the public meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will proceed to the Circuit House, hold meetings with public representatives and party officials, and provide necessary guidelines. He will spend the night in Agra. The next day, he will formally launch the cashless medical treatment scheme at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (formerly Agra University).

Although a local holiday has been declared on July 26 in Agra district on the occasion of Urs at Abul Ullah Dargah, but in view of the visit of the Chief Minister, this holiday will not be considered effective for the police and administration, university employees.

In view of the proposed visit of CM Yogi, adequate police arrangements are being made for his security. From Kheria Civil Airport to the public meeting place, Circuit House University campus, sensitive places on the tour routes are being identified and duty is being assigned. Keeping in view the rains, the Municipal Corporation is also repairing the proposed and possible tour routes of CM Yogi and the places of waterlogging. Under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner Santosh Kumar Vaish, potholes on the roads, patch work, cleaning and electrical system are being repaired on the route. Work has also been started on straightening the tilted electric poles on the roadside, repairing the dividers and painting.
