Buzz intensifies over cast fees ahead of Awarapan 2 release
Emraan Hashmi’s highly anticipated film ‘Awarapan 2’ is set to release in theaters on August 14. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, this film is a sequel to the 2007 film ‘Awarapan’, in which Emraan will once again be seen as his famous character Shivam Pandit. Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi also play important roles in the film. Discussion regarding the film’s cast fees has intensified ahead of its release.
According to reports, Emraan Hashmi has charged approximately 10 to 12 crore rupees for ‘Awarapan 2′, making him the most expensive actor in the film. Disha Patani has reportedly been paid approximately 5 crore rupees. Shabana Azmi’s villainous portrayal in the film’s trailer is also attracting audiences’ attention. According to reports, she has received a fee of around 2 to 5 crore rupees for this role.
Produced under the banner of Vishesh Films, “Awarapan 2” also stars Suvinder Vicky and Vijayant Kohli, among others. The story of the film has been written by Bilal Siddiqui, while the music has been composed by Amaal Malik and Mithun. Releasing on August 14, this film will compete at the box office with Sunny Deol’s “Partition 1947.” Notably, Shabana Azmi is a part of both films.
