Varanasi, May 6: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Varanasi on Wednesday. The Chief Minister’s helicopter from Gorakhpur landed at the helipad at the police lines, where he was welcomed by BJP officials, public representatives, and administrative officers already present.

From the police lines, the Chief Minister, under tight security, arrived in a convoy of vehicles at the home of Dr Rajiv Krishna, an economics professor at Uday Pratap College, in Badalpur, to attend the auspicious ceremony. After a brief conversation with the family members, the Chief Minister congratulated them and blessed the women and children. A group photo was also taken with them.

He then proceeded to the Kalbhairav ​​Temple for darshan and puja. After performing the rituals, the Chief Minister also performed aarti of Baba. After offering prayers at the Kalbhairav ​​Temple, the Chief Minister also performed the ritualistic worship at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. He consecrated the sacred Jyotirlinga of Baba and prayed for prosperity in the country and the state. State Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Stamps and Court Registration Fees Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Food Security Dr Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, MLC Hansraj Vishwakarma, MLC Dharmendra Singh, former Minister and City South MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava, and Pindra MLA Dr Awadhesh Singh were also present.

It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister was scheduled to visit Kashi on Tuesday evening, but his visit was cancelled due to a delay in attending a check distribution program for Shikshamitras in Gorakhpur. In anticipation of the Chief Minister’s arrival in the city, extensive security arrangements have been made, with the venue and route designated as no-fly zones. BJP workers lined the roadside to welcome the Chief Minister as he traveled from the Police Lines to Badalpur. Workers showered flowers on the Chief Minister’s vehicle near Natiniya Dai Temple.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showered love on a kid after visiting the Kaal Bhairav ​​Temple. During this, seeing his simple and affectionate style, people kept chanting Har Har Mahadev. The Chief Minister also enquired about the well-being of the shopkeepers on the temple road. The Chief Minister also blessed the children.
