
Get Ayushman cards made for every needy, instructs CM Yogi to officials during ‘Janta Darshan’ program
Gorakhpur, May 6: During his stay in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with people and listened to their problems during the ‘Janta Darshan’ held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning for the second consecutive day.
He asked people who came to Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses about the Ayushman Card and assured them that the government would provide full support in getting treatment.
Chief Minister instructed the officials present nearby to ensure that every needy and eligible person gets an Ayushman Card so that they do not have to face any hassle in getting treatment.
During the ‘Janta Darshan’ held outside Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan, Chief Minister Yogi met with approximately 200 people, went to them and listened to their problems. After reviewing their applications, he took cognizance of their problems and complaints. On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged people not to worry, as the government stands with everyone in need. He referred applications to the relevant administrative and police officials for individual cases and directed that all problems be resolved in a timely, fair, and satisfactory manner.
As usual, on Wednesday, some people came to the Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister asked them about their Ayushman card and assured them that no one’s treatment would be halted due to lack of funds. Financial assistance would be provided from the discretionary fund as soon as the hospital’s estimate is received. During the Janta Darshan, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that all public suffering is addressed, and there should be no laxity in this regard.
Some women were accompanied by their children. The Chief Minister showered the children with affection, blessed them, and gave them chocolates. He also joked with two children accompanying a woman, encouraging them to go to school.
