CM Yogi rolls out ₹682 cr projects in Mainpuri, asserts “Everything Fine” in Uttar Pradesh
Mainpuri, July 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 682 crore in Mainpuri district on Sunday. On this occasion, 19 beneficiaries were also benefited from various schemes.
Attacking the previous Samajwadi Party government, he listed his government’s achievements in development, law and order, and farmer welfare, stating that there are no riots now and everything is fine under the double-engine government.
After receiving a warm welcome on stage, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the public gathering, saying, “Today I have the privilege of visiting this historic and mythological land of India.” I have the opportunity to pay homage to this sacred land. I have come here to gift 111 projects to the people of Karhal and Mainpuri, and I thank the people here. At the event, Chief Minister Yogi said that Anuj is concerned about the development of the entire district, including Karhal, and brings development proposals.
Launching a scathing attack on the previous Samajwadi Party government, Chief Minister Yogi said that earlier, people were afraid to even mention Mainpuri. The situation had deteriorated so much that young people from Mainpuri couldn’t even rent a room in hotels in other cities. But this situation and identity crisis were created by the people among you, and it posed a threat to the safety of daughters-in-law, daughters, and businesspeople.
Chief Minister said that earlier, people used to send their daughters abroad for education. SP goons had made life miserable. It was in Mainpuri that BJP leader Madan Chauhan was murdered at a petrol pump. “After coming to power, we resolved to free the state from gangsters and mafia,” he said. Today, there is neither curfew nor riot in UP; everything is fine. All festivals are being celebrated happily.
Chief Minister Yogi, without naming the SP president, launched a scathing attack. Taking a dig, Chief Minister Yogi said that previous Chief Ministers used to wake up at 12, get ready at 2, hit the gym at 5, and chill at 7. Previously, when jobs were announced, a list would be prepared, and leaders would set out with bags to collect the money. The SP only cares about its own family, not the people. If Mainpuri lags behind, the state will lag behind. But now, under the double-engine government, this is not the case. Youths are getting jobs without paying.
Speaking directly to the people of Mainpuri, the Chief Minister said, “Today you see that the Tourism and Culture Department is investing in temples. Previously, this money was spent on graveyards. Previously, the Kanwar Yatra was stopped, but today no one stops it. When the double-engine government came to power, we promised that the Kanwar Yatra would now be celebrated with great pomp and show. Now, no one can stop the Yatra. Today, I have the opportunity to present to you projects worth 682 crore rupees. The double-engine government has already widened the Shikohabad Bhogaon Marg road with 292 crore rupees. Today, a scheme to provide clean drinking water is underway. There are many other schemes, including an auditorium, that will benefit the people of both assembly constituencies.” Local BJP officials were present on this occasion.
