
Cricket legend Sehwag visits Ram Lalla, seeks blessings at Hanumangarhi temple
Ayodhya, August 15: Former Indian cricket team’s legendary batsman Virender Sehwag reached Ayodhya on Saturday on the occasion of Independence Day. He visited Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and sought the blessings. After this, he visited at Hanumangarhi for offering prayer.
After the ‘darshan and puja’, former batsman Sehwag told the media that he has got the privilege of visiting Ayodhya after many years. I feel very blessed. It is a wonderful feeling to be here. Priest Raju Das was also with him at Hanumangarhi. He explained the importance of the temple.
Virender Sehwag has played a total of 374 international matches for India. This includes 104 Tests, 251 ODIs and 19 T20 Internationals. During this period, he scored 8586 runs in Tests, 8273 runs in ODIs and 394 runs in T20 Internationals.
