
Four die after tractor trolley turns turtle on Lucknow road
Lucknow, August 15: Four laborers were killed when an out-of-control tractor trolley overturned in the Gosaiganj police station area in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. The police arrived at the scene after receiving information and sent the bodies for post-mortem and have begun investigating the case.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ACP) South stated that on Saturday morning, information was received that a tractor trolley carrying bricks had overturned on the Gangaganj-Sultanpur Highway. Three youths were killed in the accident. A fourth person was taken to the KGMU Trauma Center for treatment, where he also died. Police identified the deceased as Sandeep Rawat, Pitambar Rawat, and Pawan Rawat, residents of Barabanki. The injured, Balram Rawat, died in the hospital during treatment.
The ACP further told that investigations revealed that all four victims worked at a brick kiln. Pitambar was the tractor driver. Panchnama (inquest report) of the four deceased in the accident has been completed and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
