Gang running online spa to rob customers busted in Noida, three women among accused
Noida, July 4: The Gautam Buddha Nagar police has arrested six members of a gang that robbed people under the guise of running an online spa. These include three women and a juvenile. The police recovered a Fortuner car, mobile phones, and cash stolen from a man. These criminals have admitted to having targeted several people so far, the police told.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manisha Singh said on Saturday that based on a tip-off, Sector 24 police arrested Omveer Yadav, Manjesh Yadav, Nidhi Yadav, Priyanka Yadav, Kajal alias Riya, and a juvenile from near Khargosh Park last night.
She said that during interrogation, the arrested accused told the police that they ran an online spa. Under the guise of this, they trap various people in their net. When a customer comes to them to buy girls, they trap him on the pretext of showing him the girls and after beating him, they rob him of the cash and other belongings he had. The accused told the police that they had robbed Rajkumar Nishad of his Fortuner car, cash etc. near the petrol pump in Sector 54.
She told that these criminals have accepted that under the guise of running an online spa, they have trapped many people in their net and robbed them in the name of supplying girls. The police are taking further action.
