
Farmers empowered with modern technology, loans, fair prices, and income security in 12 years, pens PM Modi
New Delhi, June 11: On the completion of 12 years of the Central Government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the work done for the welfare of farmers. He said that the government has continuously emphasized on improving the productivity and living standards of farmers by providing them facilities like modern technology, low-interest loans, fair prices for crops, income security, and solar energy.
The Prime Minister said on the social media platform X on Thursday that the welfare of farmers is one of our top priorities. The government has continuously emphasized on providing modern agricultural facilities to farmers. Campaigns related to drones, soil health cards, and natural fertilizers have helped farmers increase crop productivity.
In another post, the Prime Minister stated that the Kisan Credit Card has proven extremely useful for farmers, livestock farmers, and fishermen by providing them easy access to low-interest loans for their agricultural needs and other needs. Furthermore, the “Seed to Market” initiative has played a crucial role in securing fair prices for their crops.
In another post, the Prime Minister stated that our farmer brothers and sisters are the pillars of the country’s food security, nutrition, and prosperity. The government is leaving no stone unturned to make their lives easier. Initiatives like the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the Crop Insurance Scheme are not only securing their income but also empowering agriculture. He also mentioned that the PM Kusum Yojana has made solar energy accessible to farmers, reducing farming costs and increasing energy availability.
