
Parents of LeT militant Abid Ramzan Sheikh display tricolor on rooftop
Shopian, August 15: On the occasion of Independence Day, the parents of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s top commander Abid Ramzan Sheikh celebrated the country’s independence by hoisting the tricolor on the roof of their house in Shopian.
The militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Abid Ramzan Sheikh has been on the most-wanted list of security forces and is accused of involvement in various incidents in the Kashmir Valley. The incident of his parents hoisting the national flag (tricolor) at his ancestral residence in Chotipora, Shopian on the occasion of Independence Day has become a topic of discussion in the news and social media.
According to security forces, Sheikh is carrying out terrorist activities from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and is on the security forces’ most-wanted list for his involvement in several incidents in the Valley.
