BJP shows full strength as eight leaders enter Rajya Sabha fray

Lucknow, October 06: All eight Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates filed their nomination for Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.

On the last day of nomination, BJP candidates Dharampal Singh, Radhakant Ojha, Prakash Pal, Vidyasagar Sonkar, Gopi Krishna Pandey, Priyanka Singh Rawat, Rampratap Singh Chauhan, Shruti Gangwar filed their nomination papers at Vidhan Bhawan. Yogi wished all the candidates.

In addition to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister of State for Finance and BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Minister Suresh Khanna, Rakesh Sachan, Ashish Patel, Dr. Sanjay Nishad, Kapildev Agarwal, JPS Rathore, Dinesh Pratap Singh, Girish Chandra Yadav, Brajesh Singh, Satish Chandra Sharma, Rajni Tiwari, Baldev Singh Aulakh, and others were present during the nomination filing.

Rajya Sabha candidate Priyanka Rawat stated that the BJP is her soul. The central and state leadership have placed their trust in her. To maintain this trust, she must continue to move forward like a Charaiveti-Charaiveti. She will strive to do whatever she can for the society and the organization.

Speaking to reporters after filing her nomination, Rampratap Singh Chauhan expressed his gratitude to the party’s top leadership for nominating an ordinary worker like her as a candidate.

Prior to this, all candidates visited the state office where they were welcomed by party leaders. On this occasion, State President Pankaj Chaudhary stated that “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” (everyone’s support, everyone’s development) is not just a slogan of the BJP. Our party does what it says. Our party moves forward by taking all sections of society along. If you look at our eight candidates, all of them are our elected workers. These candidates come from all castes and all regions.

The last date for nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections is October 6. After this, nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 7, and names can be withdrawn until October 9. Voting will take place on October 16.
