Yogi Adityanath unveils vision of Uttar Pradesh’s progress, “Saifai festival symbolized old cultural push”, says Yogi

Lucknow, October 06: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath introduced the people of the state to the progress of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. He posted on his social media account ‘X’ the state’s rise after 2017. While putting the previous government in the dock, the Chief Minister wrote that when the concern is more about families than the state and criminals than investors, then how will an environment for future technology be created?

Chief Minister wrote that previous governments did not utilize the state’s unlimited potential, but instead kept it ‘BIMARU’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Make in India, Digital India, and Self-reliant India has been implemented by the double-engine government in Uttar Pradesh by integrating policy, investment, and production.

Yogi stated that within nine and a half years, the state accounts for approximately 60 percent of the country’s mobile phone and 55 percent of electronic component production. A ₹3,706 crore HCL-Foxconn chip unit is being built in Jewar. A 644-megawatt data center proposal has been received, and the state boasts over 24,000 startups and eight unicorns. This means the journey is progressing from mobile phones to modules, and from modules to microchips.

He also presented a picture of the pre-2017 period. He stated that unlike today’s landscape, earlier announcements were only made, but projects struggled to materialize. Back then, nepotism was the model for development, the Saifai Festival was the model for cultural regeneration, and mafiaization became the model for industrialization.

Chief Minister stated that we have shifted our priorities. We emphasized state development instead of family development, investor protection instead of mafia protection, and technology instead of appeasement. As electronics grew, the need for data centers increased, and as data increased, Uttar Pradesh is now laying the foundation for the digital economy of the future, from data centers to AI cities.

CM Yogi stated that through AI-Pragya, the goal is to connect 1 million youth with new technology. The state’s growing startup ecosystem is also transforming youth from job seekers to job creators. Once a market for technology, Uttar Pradesh is now becoming its creator. This journey from the Assembly to AI is not just about technology, but also about the employment of our youth. It is a journey of enterprise and prosperity.

Chief Minister stated that in this connection, he will participate in a program celebrating the 10th anniversary of HCL Tech’s establishment in Lucknow on Tuesday. The HCL GUVI Emerging Tech Skilling Center will also be inaugurated on this occasion. With the commitment to a “Developed India – Developed Uttar Pradesh,” this is the new flight of the “New Uttar Pradesh.”
