Sooraj Pancholi issues clarification after CBI FIR in Disha Salian death case
Actor Sooraj Pancholi has responded after his name surfaced in the case of Disha Salian’s death, the late actress and Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager. According to reports, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an FIR against 17 people in connection with Disha Salian’s death in 2020, which reportedly includes Sooraj Pancholi’s name. Now, the actor has denied any connection to the case via social media.
In his Instagram story, Sooraj stated that he has never met Disha Salian, directly or indirectly, in his life. He also clarified that he has never met Aditya Thackeray. The actor stated that his name has been linked to the case for several years without any evidence. He explained that the police and CBI recorded his statement approximately four or five years ago. Sooraj said he has nothing to hide.
The actor further stated that he has remained silent on the matter for a long time, but will no longer accept his name being repeatedly linked to an incident with which he has no connection.
He stated that if the investigating agency were to question him again, he would be willing to cooperate fully.
Sooraj urged people to verify the facts before forming opinions about anyone involved in the case. According to reports, the FIR names 17 people, including Aditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Rhea Chakraborty.
