UP Tourism Corporation rolls out special pilgrimage package after Hanuman Ansh’s success

Lucknow, September 18: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has launched a special three-day tour package to visit key sites associated with Neeb Karori Baba. Launched as part of the ‘Visit My State’ campaign, this special package will begin from September 25 to 27. In keeping with World Tourism Day, a special discount of up to 50 percent has been offered on this package.

This new package will provide tourists with an opportunity to explore a lesser-known aspect of Uttar Pradesh related to the life of Baba Neeb Karori. Neeb Karori Baba was born in Akbarpur village in Firozabad district and attained samadhi in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. The Tourism Department is developing Akbarpur village as a key part of the state’s spiritual tourism “Neeb Karori Baba” circuit.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said in a statement, “World Tourism Day is an opportunity to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s diverse tourism experiences to the world. The growing interest in the life and heritage of Neeb Karori Baba highlights the potential for connecting tourists to lesser-known destinations through spiritual tourism. Through this special package, we want to encourage more travelers to visit the sites associated with Baba in Uttar Pradesh.”

This package, launched specifically for World Tourism Day, is priced at ₹8,500. Compared to the usual price of ₹16,500, tourists are being offered a discount of approximately 50 percent on this special occasion. This special package will be available from September 25th to 27th.

The journey will begin in Lucknow. On the first day, tourists will arrive in Farrukhabad, where they will visit the Neeb Karori Baba Ashram, and then proceed to Sankisa. The itinerary also includes visits to the Ashoka Pillar, Buddhist stupas, ancient Buddhist relics, and monasteries. On the second day, travelers will visit Akbarpur village in Firozabad, the birthplace of Neeb Karori Baba. They will then proceed to Mathura and Vrindavan. The Mathura itinerary includes the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish Temple, while the evening will include a visit to the Prem Mandir in Vrindavan. The final day will include a tour of sites associated with Baba’s spiritual legacy in Vrindavan, including visits to Baba’s Samadhi, the Banke Bihari Temple, and the ISKCON Temple. Afterward, tourists will return to Lucknow.

The three-day package includes air-conditioned accommodation on a double-sharing basis, breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, high tea, tour guide services, and entrance fees. The package is designed to provide tourists with a comfortable, guided tour of the major sites associated with Neeb Karori Baba.

UPSTDC Chairman Amrit Abhijat said, “Through this package, we are trying to make travellers aware of Baba’s Uttar Pradesh connection and to take him to his major sites on this World Tourism Day.”
