Uttar Pradesh now competes with India’s best in growth and governance, says CM Yogi in Bulandshahr
Bulandshahr, July 18: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 57 development projects worth over Rs 574 crore in Bulandshahr on Saturday. At a program organized on this occasion, he said that today Uttar Pradesh is no longer a sick state, but one of the top three in the country and has made remarkable progress in areas like expressways, medical colleges, and MSMEs. Before 2017, ministers in the Samajwadi Party government were symbols of fear and hooliganism. Every district had a mafia, making it difficult for daughters-in-law and daughters to leave their homes. But now, criminals have only two paths: jail and hell.
Upon arriving at the event held at the exhibition ground in Bulandshahr, people greeted them with chants of “Yogi, Yogi.” People chanted slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” After welcoming the beneficiaries on stage and providing them with benefits, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath detailed his government’s initiatives, from the Ayushman Yojana to the Ganga Expressway, the Jewar Airport, and the establishment of the Babu Kalyan Singh Medical College in Bulandshahr.
He said that the people of Bulandshahr have elected all their representatives, and therefore, it is their responsibility to take Bulandshahr to new heights of development, a task they are fulfilling admirably. Whether it’s compensation for farmers or Khurja pottery, the government has worked at every level, providing farmers with adequate compensation for their land and promoting Khurja pottery globally.
Attacking the previous Samajwadi Party government, he said that earlier, jobs were decided by the Saifai family and extortion was rampant, but that’s no longer the case. When selection is conducted with complete transparency, even the sons and daughters of Bulandshahr can receive appointment letters. Previously, daughters-in-law, daughters, and businessmen lacked security, but now the criminals have been crushed, and daughters-in-law and daughters can travel safely. Businessmen are able to carry on their business without any extortion.
Speaking directly to the public, the Chief Minister said, “When I ask how the Ganga Expressway is constructed, public representatives and entrepreneurs traveling to Lucknow tell me it’s of global standards. This Ganga Expressway is not just an expressway, but a symbol of Uttar Pradesh and the nation’s prosperity. Today, more than 50 lakh crore rupees of investment has come into the state, whereas previously, investment was scarce. Previously, Uttar Pradesh’s borders were marked by potholes and darkness, but today the situation has completely changed. Therefore, I urge the people of Bulandshahr to continue to shower their blessings on the public representatives. The BJP’s double-engine government is moving forward rapidly with development, legacy, and prosperity. Please continue to bless this double-engine government and accelerate its pace of development.”
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 57 development projects worth over ₹574 crore in the Bulandshahr and Sikandrabad assembly constituencies. He also distributed laptops, checks, keys, thermal printers, Ayushman cards, scholarships, subsidies, tool kits, and certificates to beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. He also visited the One District, One Product stalls and encouraged entrepreneurs.
