‘Rang‑e‑Awadh’ breathes life into Lucknow’s heritage through play and performance
Lucknow: True to its name the third edition of Rang-e-Awadh – themed “Baazi, Baithak aur Baatcheet” brought to life Lucknow’s living culture through games, language and entertainment.

Musical highlights included performances by Meena Vaidyanathan, Amarjit Nagyal, Gen Vikram Kumar, Col Samit Verma, Col Parekshit and Deepika Shrikanth.
Storytelling segment featured Atif Anzar, curator of Lucknow Heritage Walks featured in Condé Nast, who traced city’s centuries-old culture of games and leisure, and Tasneem Farooquee, who shared nuggets about everyday life and how both Nawabs and general public contributed to its culture.
