
Closing Session: Modi calls BRICS an “ecosystem of solutions”
New Delhi, September 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude for the active participation and significant contributions of all countries at the closing session of the 18th BRICS Summit. He said that the discussions of the last two days have further strengthened the belief that BRICS is not just a group of countries but an ecosystem of solutions.
The Prime Minister said that the ‘New Delhi Declaration’ adopted at the summit will provide a shared vision and clear direction for future cooperation. He said that the discussions and outcomes reached at BRICS must be linked to timely action and impact at the last level.
He said, “BRICS is about to enter its third decade. The world now expects from us not only ideas and commitments but also concrete results. I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will definitely live up to these expectations.” He wished China the best as the next host of BRICS.
He said that the BRICS framework should not remain confined to files but should reflect real change and impact on the ground. The Prime Minister said that all countries will work together to achieve these goals.
Modi said that the ideas and suggestions of all participants have contributed to broadening and deepening cooperation. Their presence reflects the growing relevance, openness, and inclusiveness of BRICS.
