Yogi Adityanath strengthens workforce with 3,567 new appointments
Lucknow, September 22: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to 3,567 candidates selected by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission.
Chief Minister Yogi said that before 2017, even those who did not apply were able to get appointment letters through the back door. Corruption was at its peak. Qualified youth were not able to get jobs. The Saifai Syndicate used to loot government jobs. Now Uttar Pradesh is changing. Qualified youth are getting jobs here.
During a program organized at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, 12 candidates were symbolically given appointment letters for the 3,567 posts of Principal, Lecturer, Assistant Teacher in non-government aided secondary schools selected by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission through a fair and transparent process.
Yogi Adityanath, in his address, congratulated the selected candidates and said that this program is special for us. This is special because today isn’t just an appointment letter distribution program; it’s an opportunity to fulfill Prime Minister Modi’s pledge of a self-reliant and developed India by selecting 3,567 people.
Yogi said that if a teacher interacts with 100 students per year, they will reach out to over three lakh students. India was the world leader in the times of Takshashila and Nalanda. India still possesses that heritage. What is needed is to understand it. The government can provide the system, but the students trained by you will be the ones to fulfill it.

Now, people are feeling that their schools should also have playgrounds.
Chief Minister Yogi said that under Project Alankar in secondary education, buildings in 2,300 schools have been renovated. Buildings for more than 1,500 government inter-colleges have already been constructed. This work could have been done before 2017. But they were not interested. They lacked vision. They had their own limited agenda. They used to play with the future of the youth with that limited agenda. Today, Uttar Pradesh has progressed in every field. Uttar Pradesh has immense potential. The responsibility of taking it forward lies with the teachers. He directed the departmental officials not to create any obstacles in the joining of newly selected teachers. Otherwise, strict action will be taken.
Speaking in Awadhi, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was plagued by murder, robbery, dacoity, and the dishonor of daughters-in-law and daughters. Our girls were not safe. The roads were very bad. People from Meerut, Ghazipur, and Ballia had to struggle to reach the capital. Electricity used to come once a week during the day and once at night. Now, electricity is available abundantly. In this same state, teachers used to teach with guns. From 1947 to 2017, Uttar Pradesh had 17 government and 23 private medical colleges. Now, 85 medical colleges are operating at full capacity. He said that jobs are now available without any form or expense.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi, and former Minister Mahendra Singh, along with many other prominent figures, were present on the occasion.
