NIA tightens watch on Prince Khan’s network, team in Dhanbad
Dhanbad, August 28: Amidst the action of Dhanbad police against absconding Wasseypur criminal Prince Khan, now the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also become active. The NIA team has reached Dhanbad to investigate Prince Khan’s criminal network, local associates, economic activities and alleged international connections.
The NIA team has gathered important information from Dhanbad’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar regarding Prince Khan’s criminal history, his network and people associated with him. The investigating agency is also investigating his network’s activities and contacts at the local level.
Dhanbad’s Rural Superintendent of Police S. Mohammad Yakub stated on Friday that the NIA team is investigating Prince Khan’s alleged operatives, associates, past contacts, and financial network in Wasseypur and other areas. The investigation is examining his network’s activities, as well as potential funding sources and financial transactions.
He stated that the Dhanbad police are providing essential support to the NIA investigation. Coordination between the agency and local police is being established to gather facts related to the case and take necessary action.
The Rural Superintendent of Police stated that the Dhanbad police’s action against Prince Khan is ongoing. Information about the individuals associated with his network and their activities is being gathered and action is being taken as per the law. The NIA team also arrived in Dhanbad in this regard and is fully cooperating with the agency in the investigation.
The Rural Superintendent clarified that the police will take strict action against those who extort money, threaten businessmen, or attempt to create an atmosphere of fear in the area. No leniency will be tolerated in such cases.
The Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) assured security to the district’s businessmen, commercial organizations, and common citizens, stating that any individual or organization seeking police assistance or protection would be provided with the necessary support. He also appealed to the public to report their complaints to the police without fear.
According to the Rural Superintendent of Police, prompt action is being ensured by establishing better coordination with those who approach the police with complaints. The Dhanbad Police’s priority is strengthening law and order in the district and effectively curbing the network of illegal trade and organized crime.
