PM Modi gifts ‘Melody’ to Georgia Meloni, goes viral on the internet
New Delhi, May 20: During his visit to Italy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted Melody toffee to Prime Minister Georgia Meloni as a special gift.
Meloni shared the video on X that went viral on social media platforms rapidly.
Meloni herself shared this smile-inducing video on her X. account. In it, Prime Minister Modi is seen giving the gift to Meloni, and in return, Meloni writes, “Thank you for this gift.
” The word “Melodi” was coined by the Italian Prime Minister to underline the close ties between the two countries. She combined her name and Prime Minister Modi’s name. Previously, she has used the hashtag “Melodi” three times while sharing her photo with Prime Minister Modi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has described this as part of the Prime Minister’s humorous style. Melody Chocolate Toffee is well-known in India thanks to an old advertisement. Its line, “Why is Melody so chocolatey? Eat Melody and find out for yourself,” is still remembered by many.
It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Italy today, the final leg of his five-nation tour.
