Ayushman cards should be made for every needy person: CM Yogi
Gorakhpur, September 17: During his visit to Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with people and listened to their problems during the ‘Janta Darshan’ held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Thursday morning.
He assured those who came seeking financial assistance for treatment that the government would provide full support. To this end, Ayushman Cards would be made for those in need, and if further assistance is needed, assistance will be provided from the discretionary fund.
Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that every needy and eligible person has an Ayushman Card so that they do not face any hassles in seeking treatment.
During the Janta Darshan held in front of Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan, CM Yogi met with approximately 150 people, listened to their problems, reviewed their applications, and took cognizance of their problems and complaints.
Chief Minister urged people not to worry, saying the government stands with every needy person. He referred and received applications from the relevant administrative and police officials for the resolution of various cases.
He also directed that all problems be resolved in a timely, fair, and satisfactory manner.
During the Janta Darshan, a physically challenged person from Deoria district requested assistance for treatment. The Chief Minister directed officials on the spot to make appropriate arrangements. Upon speaking with the disabled person, the Chief Minister learned that he did not have an Ayushman card and instructed officials to obtain an Ayushman card as soon as possible.
Yogi also inquired about his disability pension and learned that he had been receiving a pension in the past, but it had been discontinued due to some reasons. Following this, the Chief Minister directed officials to restore the disabled person’s pension.
During his stay at the Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s daily routine remained traditional. After seeking blessings from Guru Gorakhnath and his departed guru, Mahant Avaidyanath Ji, in the morning, Chief Minister Yogi performed cow service at the temple’s cowshed.
He showered the cattle with his own hands and showered them with affection. He inquired from the workers of the cowshed about the health and vaccination of the cattle and provided necessary guidelines for their care.
