Lucknow, 21 December: Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak on Wednesday issued a high alert across Uttar Pradesh in view of outbreak of Covid in China again.

Dy CM Pathak has instructed that the system from investigation to treatment should be started in the Health and Medical Education Department. Vigilance should be increased at the airport. People who have returned from travel to ffected countries should be screened. Genome sequencing of corona positive patients should be done so that the variant of the virus can be detected. Identify passengers with other symptoms including cold and fever.

Today, Deputy Chief Minister instructed all the CMOs and officers of the Medical Education Department of the state to increase vigilance.

Samples of Covid suspect should be taken and tested. During this, people who have returned from travel should be advised to stay in home isolation. The Health Department should make a list of people who have returned from traveling abroad. Take a look at his health for 12 to 14 days. In case of any kind of problem, treatment should be made available to them. Besides, make arrangements for arrangements for resources ranging from oxygen to RTPCR, CT scan, X-ray, pathology tests. Collect masks, PPE kits and globs etc. in sufficient quantity. Manage the drugs used in the treatment.

At present there are 95 Covid patients in 21 districts of the state. They have been detected in Varanasi, Rae Bareli, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Kushinagar, Ambedkar Nagar and Amroha, Etah and Gonda and in other districts.
