Yogi Adityanath asserts security strength brings international friendship
Lucknow, May 30: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when we are strong on the security front, the world will also be friendly. No one bows to the weak. He said that India’s sage tradition inspires that “Ahimsa Paramo Dharmah, Dharma Himsa Tathaiva Cha” means that non-violence should be the supreme religion in normal life. However, if the other person poses a threat to the security of the country and society, violence will ultimately be necessary to counter it. This is our duty towards the enemies of the country, and the Indian Army does this with full force.
Chief Minister Yogi was addressing military officers, personnel, and the public present at the inauguration of the Naval Shaurya Vatika (Phase II of the Naval Shaurya Museum), built on an area of more than two acres in the capital Lucknow on Saturday. Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the garden along with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Navy Band’s unique performance captivated the audience.
Chief Minister Yogi said that when one’s vision is big and one moves forward with a big goal, positive results are achieved, which provides new inspiration to the youth. Visitors to this garden will gain information about the Indian Navy and will also have the opportunity to learn about the favorable and adverse conditions in which our soldiers work. This information will inspire young people to face the challenges in life. The Navy’s mission symbolizes its broad vision. He cited the motto “Nabhah Sprisham Deeptam” and said that to reach the heights of the sky, one must also think big. Narrow-mindedness or sentiment cannot achieve big goals.
Yogi said that we should have respect for the army and the uniformed forces. When Indian soldiers protect the borders, braving sub-zero temperatures, the scorching heat of the desert, and the waves of the sea, 1.4 billion Indians sleep peacefully.
Chief Minister Yogi said that public welfare and development schemes can only proceed effectively in a better security environment. He said that before 2017, curfews were imposed daily in Uttar Pradesh, professional mafia and criminals had made life miserable. The prospects of development and investment had diminished in an insecure environment, but when our soldiers perform their duties with commitment towards security, it is the duty of the citizens to respect them.
The Chief Minister said that on one hand there is Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister on December 25, and on the other hand, there is a wonderful center of the bravery and valor of the Indian Army in the form of the Naval Museum. It will also be expanded now.
On this occasion, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Rajya Sabha MPs Dr. Dinesh Sharma and Brajlal, Tourism/Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, MLAs Yogesh Shukla, Rajeshwar Singh, OP Srivastava, Amresh Kumar, Jai Devi, Legislative Council members Avneesh Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Pawan Singh Chauhan, Umesh Dwivedi, Lalji Prasad Nirmal, Ramchandra Pradhan etc. were present.
