
Congratulations pour in from across the world for Prime Minister Modi
New Delhi, June 10: Leaders from across the world have sent their congratulations and best wishes to Narendra Modi, who holds the record for being the longest-serving and most continuously elected Prime Minister of India. Narendra Modi visited Bhutan on his first foreign visit after being sworn in as Prime Minister.
Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him his friend, brother, and guide. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake congratulated Prime Minister Modi and underscored Sri Lanka’s commitment to further strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two countries.
The Sri Lankan High Commission in India also conveyed President Dissanayake’s message to India and Sri Lanka, reaffirming the close and long-standing partnership between the two countries. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim described Prime Minister Modi’s achievements as a testament to his years of dedicated public service and leadership.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria noted the trust and confidence reposed in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership by the people of India during his three consecutive terms in office. President Tinbu underscored Prime Minister Modi’s contribution to strengthening India-Nigeria relations and wished him continued health, wisdom, and success. He noted that Prime Minister Modi is not only a great friend of Nigeria, but also a personal friend and trusted ally.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives congratulated the Prime Minister and expressed his country’s desire to further strengthen cooperation with India on the basis of mutual respect, sovereign equality, and shared interests.
