CM Yogi promises development and security in Azamgarh
Azamgarh, June 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 39 development projects worth 955 crores at Maharaja Suheldev University, Azamgarh. The Chief Minister and Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar also inspected the exhibition.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged the people of Azamgarh to prepare to move forward at double speed with the double-engine government to improve the present and create a bright future. We will make Azamgarh safe and prosperous. Yogi Adityanath said that the grand Ram temple was built in Ayodhya under the double-engine government. The Samajwadi Party and Congress could not have accomplished this.
Taking aim at the Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister said, “When they cannot respect your ancestors, they should be prepared to do so.” If they can’t respect your faith, can’t honor the gods and goddesses, then what will you achieve by joining them? These people can’t do anything, can’t bring development, can’t do welfare for the poor, can’t provide jobs to the youth, so why do you carry this burden on your head? Therefore, prepare to move forward at double speed with the double-engine government. Yogi said that even though the BJP didn’t win the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections here, we haven’t allowed Azamgarh to be deprived of development.
Paying homage to the memories of Maharaja Suheldev, Yogi Adityanath said that Azamgarh has a glorious history. It has been a center of spiritual practice. The people here participated enthusiastically in the freedom movement. The district was desperate for recognition.
Chief Minister said that today our country, India, is making its mark in the world as a new India. Before 2014, enemy countries used to threaten India. The country was suffering from Naxalism. Today, under Modi’s leadership, our generation is seeing a new India.
He said that Maharaja Suheldev worked to destroy foreign invaders. When we divided among ourselves, the consequences were evident to all of us. After Maharaja Suheldev, Muhammad Ghori attacked. Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Ghori 17 times. In Bahraich, events were held in the name of the invader Ghazi, not Maharaja Suheldev. Today, a grand memorial to Maharaja Suheldev has been built there; progress is as fast as speed.
The Chief Minister said that Nirahua is working to spread the sweetness of Bhojpuri to the world. This is the land of Rangey Raghav. Ayodhya Singh Upadhyay Hariaudh. The land of Sanjarpur was mentioned in every terrorist activity. There were no toilets, houses, or rations for the poor. Youth’s jobs were compromised. There were no plans for daughters, no education, no security. There was no provision for destitute women.
