Mauritius Prez visits Ram Temple at Ayodhya

Ayodhya, 21 November: Mauritius President Prithvirajsing Roopun on Monday offered prayers at Hanumangarhi with Vedic chanting. After paying obeisance to Bajrangbali at Hanumangarhi, the President reached the court of Ramlala and offered his prayers to Ramlala and also performed aarti.

Prithvirajsingh reached Ayodhya on Monday by a car from Lucknow. He put up at Saryu Hotel located on the bank of holy river Saryu. The President was welcomed by the senior priest Raju Das by offering Ramnaam and garland at Hanumangarhi.. Hanuman ji’s Prasad Mahabiri was blessed by Tilak. Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Archak of Ram Janmabhoomi, gave a grand felicitation to the President on his arrival at Ramnagari.

After doing religious rituals, the President minutely saw the ongoing works for the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. President Nihal was seen beaming after witnessing the construction work of the temple.

Then the President reached Siddha Peeth Kanak Bhavan and offered prayers and aarti to Kanak Bihari Sarkar. At Kanak Bhawan, he praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said – Lord Ram has called me, that’s why I am in this holy city of Ram.

He said that the whole world has got a big message from Hindu religion. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is the specialty of Hinduism. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is the basic culture and ideology of Sanatana Dharma, which is found n many texts including Maha Upanishad. It means that the earth is the family. I believe that the whole universe belongs to one family. He said that it is our good fortune that Lord Ram has called us here. Very few people get this fortune.

After visiting Kanak Bhawan, the President returned to Saryu Hotel. Adequate security arrangements were made in view of Mauritius President Prithvirajsing Roopun?s visit.

In the afternoon, Mauritius President left forLucknow.
