Police nab man in Kushinagar over controversial Pakistani flag post
Kushinagar, August 7: The Kushinagar police has arrested a youth for posting a story with a photo of Pakistani flag on social media.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) Keshav Kumar said the accused has been identified as Salman Ali, a resident of Banka Khas village in the Tarya Sujan police station area.
He said police received information that a youth had posted a story with a photo with a Pakistani flag on social media. Taking the matter seriously, police began investigating the post and identified the youth who posted it as Salman Ali. Subsequently, the police arrested him.
The SP said the Tarya Sujan police station has taken legal action against the accused. Police are also investigating other facts related to the social media post. The police have appealed to the public not to post or share any objectionable or controversial material on social media that could harm mutual harmony.
