New Delhi, 03 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing election rallies in Karnataka on Wednesday accused the Congress of conspiring to change the identity of Karnataka. He said that Congress is doing politics of appeasement and people should be careful from Congress.
He questioned, ?Does anyone in Karnataka accept the gaali culture? Does Karnataka forgive the abuser? When you press the button in the polling booth, punish them by saying ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’.”
The Prime Minister described the Congress as the enemy of peace and progress. He said that people who want peace and progress first of all oust Congress from their state. The whole politics of Congress is based on divide and rule. The people of Karnataka have themselves seen this dreadful face of the Congress.
He said that people get arrested for conspiring to spread terror in Karnataka and the Congress comes to their rescue. Congress not only withdraws the cases filed against the anti-nationals, but also leaves them. The Prime Minister addressed Congress as Reverse Gear Congress and said that today the whole world is giving respect to democracy and development in India, but Reverse Gear Congress is defaming the country around the world.
Describing the Congress’ election promises as lies, the Prime Minister said that the Congress has lost public trust due to decades of misrule and now its only recourse is false allegations and false guarantees. Even today Congress is ready to eat 85 percent commission in every scheme of Karnataka. Congress has cheated in the name of guarantee. The BJP has come and worked there.
Modi said that the Congress had given a guarantee of electricity in 2004 and had promised to provide electricity to every household in the country in 3-4 years. But in 2014, the BJP government found that more than 2.5 crore households did not have electricity. The BJP government provided electricity connection to every family in the country within a very short time through Saubhagya Yojana.
Praising the works of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the public meeting, he said that the rail and road in Karnataka was in a bad condition. Airport and modern railway stations are being built in the BJP government. BJP has a road map for the future to make Karnataka the No.1 state of the country. BJP’s resolve is to build modern infrastructure in Karnataka and make the state a manufacturing super power.
Accusing the Congress of working for one family, he said that the ‘royal family’ sitting in Delhi controls the leaders here with their remote and JDS is only a private limited company of a family. The accountability of JDS is towards its owner family. But for Modi every family in Karnataka is my family. Our accountability is towards you.
