Trio cockroaches released on ₹50,000 bail bond after SEM court proceedings in Delhi cantt

New Delhi, October 11: After being released from preventive detention by the Delhi Police, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke visited senior advocate Kapil Sibal on Sunday. After meeting him, Dipke said that his grandmother had passed away and that he was returning home to Maharashtra. Released Ashutosh Ranka and Saurabh Das will hold a press conference this afternoon to discuss the entire incident. After his release, Saurabh Das also said that he would hold a press conference to share his future strategy.

According to Delhi Police, Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka, and Saurabh Das were detained on October 10 (Saturday) for preventive arrest under sections 126/170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Following all legal procedures, they were produced before the SEM Court in Delhi Cantt on October 11 (Sunday).bond 

Regarding the incident, Dipke said, “The whole world saw what happened. Delhi came to a standstill for the safety of Gyanesh Kumar. What is so special about Gyanesh Kumar that you protected him yesterday, putting millions of people in danger?”

Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka, and Saurabh Das, leaders of the Cockroach Janata Party, were arrested yesterday from inside the plane at Delhi Airport as a precautionary measure. They were produced before the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) Court on Sunday, where they were released on a bond of ₹ 50,000.

According to the police, “A bail bond of Rs 50,000 for a period of one year to maintain peace and good behavior was furnished and they were released from the SEM Court.”
