Yogi Adityanath pays tribute to Jhalkari Bai, unveils statue and development package for Rudauli

Ayodhya, June 19: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday unveiled the equestrian statue of warrior Jhalkari Bai at Maa Kamakhya Dham located in Rudauli assembly constituency.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 126 development projects worth Rs 378 crore. The Chief Minister said, I pay my humble tribute to the immortal warrior of India, Jhalkari Bai, who forced the British to face tough times for the country’s independence during the 1857 freedom struggle.

Addressing the public on this occasion, Yogi Adityanath said that respecting national heroes, respecting brave and brave women inspires us to patriotism. Inspired by this spirit of patriotism, after coming to power, the double engine BJP government has started several campaigns in the name of Maharani Laxmibai, Maharani Durgavati, Maharani Avantibai Lodhi and Veerangna Jhalkari Bai and Veerangna Udadevi. Three new battalions of PAC have been formed in the name of Veerangna Avantibai Lodhi, Veerangna Jhalkari Bai Kori and Veerangna Udadevi Pasi. Only girls will be recruited in these three battalions. Wherever PAC battalions are being formed, a statue of a horse rider will be installed there. In the fight for the country’s independence, the revolutionaries had sacrificed everything and worked with dedication for the country’s freedom.

Prominently present on the occasion were MLC Hari Om Pandey, BJP District President Radheshyam Tyagi, BJP District Incharge Mithilesh Tripathi, District Panchayat President Roli Singh, MLA Ramchandra Yadav, Bikapur MLA Amit Singh Chauhan, Milkipur MLA Chandrabhan Paswan, former MLA Khabbu Tiwari, former MLA Abhay Singh, Block Chief Rajiv Tiwari, BJP District General Secretary Raghavendra Pandey and District Minister Abhishek Yadav.
