His legacy is the shared heritage of the entire country.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that Ayodhya is the birthplace of Ram Lalla and the faith of millions of Ram devotees around the world is linked to it. This is a matter of pride for the country and every Indian should be proud of this historic achievement.
Taking aim at Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, Maurya said that he should refrain from unnecessary rhetoric on religious and faith-related matters. He said that instead of politicizing such sensitive issues, he should focus on matters of public interest. Responding to a question, he said that Champat Rai is a great devotee of Lord Ram, a highly respected and honored person. His entire life has been dedicated to Ram’s work and social service.
Regarding allegations of alleged irregularities and scams, he said that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty. He clarified that the matter is under investigation and everyone should await the SIT report.
Responding to a question about Shivpal Singh Yadav contesting the election from Shirathu, he advised that Shivpal Yadav is a senior leader. He should first take care of his nephew Akhilesh Yadav and not get involved with Keshav Prasad Maurya.
