Netanyahu phones his dear friend ‘Narendra’, discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation
New Delhi, August 06: The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone on Thursday evening. The two leaders reviewed the growing strategic relationship between India and Israel and agreed to continuously strengthen mutual cooperation.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the two leaders discussed ongoing cooperation between India and Israel in defense, agriculture, science, technology, innovation, and other areas. The two countries will further strengthen their special strategic partnership, which will benefit both countries.
Prime Minister Modi and Netanyahu also exchanged views on recent developments in West Asia. The two leaders discussed the current situation in the region and agreed to maintain contact.
