
CM Yogi emphasizes zero-tolerance policy on land-related irregularities
Gorakhpur, June 3: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a tough stance on land-related complaints during the ‘Janta Darshan’.
He directed the District Magistrates (DMs) to ensure strict action if negligence is found at any level in resolving land-related complaints. Suspension action should be taken against the concerned person depending on the severity of the case. Laxity or negligence at any level is absolutely unacceptable.
Chief Minister Yogi, during his visit to Gorakhpur, met with people and listened to their problems during the Janta Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning for the second consecutive day. Some people complained about negligence on the part of revenue officials in land-related matters, and he directed the District Magistrate to take immediate strict action. On this occasion, he told people who came seeking financial assistance for treatment that the government would provide full support. To this end, Ayushman cards will be made for those in need, and if further assistance is needed, assistance will be provided from the discretionary fund.
During the Janta Darshan, the Chief Minister instructed the officials present to ensure that every needy and eligible person receives an Ayushman card, so that they do not face any hassles in getting treatment.
During the Janta Darshan, held outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan in the Gorakhnath Temple complex, Chief Minister Yogi met with approximately 150 people, listened to their problems, reviewed their applications, and took cognizance of their grievances. On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured the people that no one need worry and that the government stands with every needy person. A woman complained of being evicted from her house by some people. The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that the woman regains possession of the house. He referred the applications to the relevant administrative and police officers for resolution of the individual cases, directing that all problems be resolved in a timely, fair, and satisfactory manner.
During the Janta Darshan, a woman requested assistance for her mother’s treatment. The Chief Minister inquired about the Ayushman card, which the woman explained that she did not have. The Chief Minister directed the officers present on the spot to get their Ayushman cards made as soon as possible. Officials should get Ayushman cards made for every needy person so they don’t have to worry about getting treatment. The Chief Minister assured those who came seeking financial assistance for serious illnesses that they would be provided financial assistance from the discretionary fund.
Yogi showered love on children and performed cow service
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s daily routine remained traditional on Wednesday morning during his stay at the Gorakhnath Temple. After seeking blessings from Guru Gorakhnath and his departed Gurudev Mahant Avedyanath Ji in the morning, Yogi served cows in the temple’s cowshed. He showered affection on the cattle by feeding them jaggery and roti with his own hands. While touring the temple premises, he called the children who had come with their families near him and pampered them. He gave them chocolates and talked to them about their studies. Yogi also blessed the children to study well and progress.
